okay. this is a pleasant setting in which i am blogging. :)

an air-conditioned enclave by the name of Olive Cove, tucked away in a reclusive corner of the Faculty of Engineering, offering decent thai food. lovely place, nice and cosy...

ellen had mango tea and her fave phad thai (which shld appear in her foodblog soon hahah) and for me it was fruit salad, which was actually just a hefty helping of apples, apples and more apples, plus a measly amount of raisins, mixed in thousand-island sauce. -.-

using ellen's laptop now... that girl has left for her managerial econs lecture, leaving me here with two hours on my own to spare in this frigid (yes it's THAT cold) cafe. spent the first half reading my TIME magazine and the other half here attempting a quick post before her lecture ends and i scoot off to meet her again.

tutorials began this week.. so far i've had two: german and NM, and they've been pretty slack. right now dozens of new names are swimming around in my head, as new friendships are made and new connections bridged.

i'm kinda averse towards the FASS system of mandating us to do exposure modules from every dept, cos i end up doing some rubbish modules that have no relation to what i intend to specialize in (which for the record is econs). :(

i hope i survive this sem.

guess i'll just have to give it my best.

Thermal process laboratory; Hydraulics engineering........

just some terms i saw in the corridors of engineering fac. hmm.... terms that have absolutely no relevance to my life whatsoever and which i will never use nor be interested to find out. gosh it's so outta my league..... >.<
